HISTORY
The Michel Bruno's Fishroom was created in 1995, in Goiânia, Brazil. The Guppy (japanese:
グッピー), Poecilia reticulata, breeding occupies all the fishroom's space. The beauty, yours docility, the challenges and the genetics complexity was the definitive factors for we choose this species. Planned to be a fishroom with only quality fishes ("IFGA Quality") and reference on this type of breeding, the Michel Bruno's Fishroom combines genetics, nutrition, environmental responsibility, automatic exchange of water, more than 15 years of experience, differential management and modern infrastructure for achieve your goal: make champions and disseminate this beautiful strain in Brazil and other countries. |

Celebrating the fifteenth year of creation in 2010, the Michel Bruno's Fishroom has also register new strains in the Guppy shows. New strains are being maintained and created, and may be purchased in 2010.
PHILOSOPHY

The philosophy of Michel Bruno's Fishroom has three legs of support:
Genetics: from planned crosses and rigorous selection, especially the breeders, always bases on the official rules and standards of the International Fancy Guppy Association (IFGA);
Nutrition: constant and detailed investment, that starts with care of storage dry food, the live and frozen food to production and creation of them;
Environmental Responsibility: ethical where the respect for nature is always came first.

Combining automatic exchange of water and experience of many years of breeding Guppies, Michel Bruno's Fishroom has achieved significant results in the Guppy shows.
CAMPAIGN
2003 - Start in the national and international guppy shows;
2004 - We received 8 awards and the leadership in the breeding of this strain;
2005 - Several awards, including Best Of Show 2005 led to Michel Bruno's Fishroom oven to win the overall leadership of the Delta Lace Snakeskin strain in 2005;

2006 - We received 19 awards in the Guppy shows from Brazilian Federal District, Minas Gerais and São Paulo;
2007 - Unfortunately there wasn´t any national Guppy show;
2008 - Awards and participations with one of the best Delta Snakeskin Variegated strain in the world;
2009 - Award with new separate strain in the Michel Bruno's Fishroom and until then, unprecedented in Brazil;
2010 - We received 6 awards, with only one strain, in the first brazilian guppy show in this year. Including 5th Best Of Show Tank, 1st, 2nd and 4th Snakeskin Variegated Tank. It is in this class where the Guppy breeders show the quality of your fishes and the homogeneity of your strains.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The infrastructure is based on modernity, ease of management and administration:
Baby brine shrimp hatchery: are used two bottle for the baby brine shrimp (Artemia sp.) and about 0,661 pounds of eggs are used each month;
Corydoras & Plecos: Albino Corydoras (Corydora aeneus) help the cleaning of the excess food. Albino Plecos (Plecostomus sp.) clean the glass of the tank and let the environment always healthy for the Guppies.

Automatic exchange of water: are executed through PVC pipes that suck the dirty water from the bottom of the tank and through valves that replace clean water;
Tanks: are tens, many exclusive for the breeders and the rest for babies, youngs and Show Guppies. All the tanks are numbered and identified, containing dates of birth and origin of each line;
Filters: external filters are used in all tanks. This type of filter is more efficient for oxygen and water movement in the right measure. The fish develop all their muscles and are always strong and healthy;

Dry food: we use three types of high quality dry foods for the best performance of the fish;
Live and frozen foods: Guppies are provided with baby & adult brine shrimp, as experience has shown that it the most complete foods for the good nutrition of Guppies. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
